We facilitate every student’s ability to succeed by teaching them the tools to achieve academic and social-emotional growth, while also learning how to self-advocate and build resilience.
Vision Statement
The vision of the West Jefferson Middle School counseling program is that all students possess the knowledge and skills necessary to attain the highest levels of growth in order to achieve academic and personal success. Our students demonstrate integrity, respect, and resilience, and take pride in themselves and their surroundings. West Jefferson Middle School students are highly prepared to continue their journey towards becoming their authentic self.

Mountain living provides plenty of fresh air and gorgeous views. Unfortunately, the expansive layout of our community can make accessing mental health services challenging. The WJMS mental health team has compiled an ever-expanding list of providers for residents of the mountain community.
