Eighth Grade Continuation

We recognize our eighth grade students at the end of the school year with a ceremony for families and a party just for students.

Continuation Ceremony

We invite our eighth grade families to join us in recognizing our eighth grade students on Friday, May 23, 2025. The Continuation ceremony will take place on the athletic field (weather permitting) at [TIME] am. Please bring your own chairs if you'd like to be seated during the event. A celebration just for students will take place the evening before the ceremony.

We have attire guidelines below for families to help their students make choices for celebratory wear.

Continuation Party

The PTA plans and puts on the celebration with food, music, and activities. This year, the 8th Grade Continuation Party will take place at the school from [TIME] to [TIME] pm on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025. The [THEME]-themed event will include [ACTIVITIES], food and drinks. The event is open only to current West Jeff Middle eighth graders. A completed digital permission slip is required for entry.

Volunteer opportunities are available before, during and after the event. Adult volunteers interested in helping may confirm the role(s) they would like to help with on the event's SignUpGenius.

Attire Guidelines for Continuation

Recommended:

  • Dress pants, jeans in good condition (without holes nor damaged bottom hem), skirts, or dresses
  • Buttoned, collared shirt or blouse
  • Tops must have at least one shoulder (or two straps) and must cover entire torso
  • Jackets and ties optional
