Veterans Day

West Jefferson Middle has honored our community's veterans since 2015 with driveway signs, a wall of honor, and a reception following an in-school assembly.

Our Veterans Day Event

On Monday, November 11, 2024, we will observe Veterans Day with an assembly at 8:50 a.m., followed by a reception for veterans in our cafeteria sponsored by Conifer High School Student Government. Outside, a banner and individual honoree signs from past years will be displayed.

Students will follow an assembly schedule and may submit information for our Remembrance Wall or service flags (links to both are below). Please see the Veterans Day Initiatives slide deck for more information. 

Mr. Fisher's broadcasting class will be creating this year's slideshow for the assembly. Families are asked to share information about veterans that they would like to have recognized during our Veterans Day assembly. Even if your veteran was in the slideshow a previous year, please be sure to resubmit their information. Thank you!
